About Softmount Technology
Softmount Technology designs, develops and manufactures Machine Gun recoil suppression systems used by NATO member country armies and navies. Our solutions were first put into service in 2012 and also include training of military end users and support staff in the the use of our systems as well as maintenance and repair procedures.
Accomplishments
Danish Army
The Softmount has been used extensively by Danish Armed Forces on battle tanks and armoured vehicles including as part of international deployment to Afghanistan.
Danish Navy
The Softmount has been used extensively on Royal Danish Navy vessels including on the Absalon class frigates, and as part of international anti-piracy missions to the Gulf of Aden.
Kuwaiti Security Forces
The Softmount has been used by Kuwaiti Security Forces as part of a contract with a long-established European manufacturer of tactical and armoured vehicles.
French Armed Forces
The Softmount has been tested by and supplied to the French Armed Forces in collaboration with a long-established European manufacturer of tactical and armoured vehicles.
MLADS Test
The Softmount has been tested for Mobile Low-cost Air Defense Systems (MLADS) by a NATO country for use against low flying weaponized drones and cruise missiles.
